Here you will find a variety of consciously created handmade items, designed to imbue a sense of peace, calm, healing, and style!
Perfect for the environmentally conscious shopper - we make many of our products using vintage and recycled jewelry components, vintage teacups, vintage dish ware, and more items that might normally end up in the landfill. We source these items through many charitable non-profit organizations such as the Animal Humane Association, Salvation Army, Joy Junction, and more!
Choose from a variety of candle sizes that come in collectible, and often rare and valuable Vintage and Antique teacups and dish ware. Be sure to research the value of each vintage vessel that you buy. If you're curious, a quick search on eBay's "sold" listings or Replacements.com, with the maker's mark and pattern name, can give you a good idea. Imagine if your candle's vessel turned out to be a hidden gem!
If you find out anything interesting about your Vintage Vessel Candle, you should share it on Facebook, Instagram, Flip, or YouTube and tag us! Or better yet, write a Review :-)
More about us - Artist and crafts person Myria Trini Mandell has been interested in arts and crafts since early childhood. Her mother taught her how to sew by hand at the age of 4, and on the machine at the age of 12. She has also been interested in vintage collectibles and thrift shopping since early childhood. Some of her fondest memories are of her and her mother's Saturday thrift shopping excursions. This hobby, combined with her interest in fashion design, art and design history sparked a passion for making jewelry and collecting antiques.
Her father, Gerald Mandell, gave her an interest in the environment through many father and daughter outdoor adventures hiking, camping, and visiting Historic National Monuments and Parks. It was during these times that her dad taught her how to be a good steward of the environment, and always "Pack it in, and pack it out."
She became interested in jewelry making after purchasing some jewelry supplies at a yard sale in about 1997. The $5 box came with amethyst and turquoise beads, and other tools and supplies, that proved to be very useful throughout the years. In 2001 she self-published a book of poetry These Little Pieces of Me - Poems and Confessions.
Then in 2010, while she was pregnant, she started Beloved Bijou Adornments. In 2014 she started Beloved Bijou Crafts and began to offer arts and crafts classes. Also, in 2014 she opened a booth at Antiques and Things in Albuquerque, New Mexico; where she sold her Vintage Assemblage Jewelry creations and began dealing in Vintage and Antique home decor.
In 2021 she started her Curanderismo Traditional Healing Journey. In 2023 she added candles and other Apothecary products to her product line, and became Beloved Bijou Adornments and Apothecary. Then in 2024 she got her Herbalism Certification, as well as her New Mexico Cannabis Manufacturing and Retail Sales Licenses, for her Beloved Bijou Canna Jelly (+ Patent Pending). In 2025 she self-published her dad's New Mexico History manuscript This Other World: Commercial Ties Between New Mexico and Parral, Mexico, 1632 to 1682 (Unedited)
This website reflects that journey through the consciously created product offerings, designed to imbue a sense of peace, calm, healing, and style!
